What a night...The sun shone as 500 local entrepreneurs, business professionals and industry leaders came together on June 5 to toast the best of the best businesses in Herefordshire and Worcestershire at the truly inspirational Chamber Awards 2008.

In the beautiful setting of Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, our counties business people networked, drank champagne and ate fine food, awaiting the final results in the prestigious Awards event.

Kingspan Insulation of Pembridge, Leominster, took the top accolade of Business of the Year for 2008, with 20 of their employees and guests there to celebrate.

A night of rapturous success for nine further local businesses was topped off with a stunning fireworks display overlooking the lake, with the evening finishing all too soon for some revellers.

A whole range of first class businesses were represented at the event the 7th Annual Chamber Awards but with fierce competition in a record-breaking year for entries, there could only be one winner in each of the ten categories...Click here for winner details.

A charity raffle and auction raised a fantastic 8330.00 on the night for our charity of choice The Princes Trust. Chairman of the Trust John Leftwich said, "The Princes Trust is thrilled to be part of such a successful evening. Successful for the many businesses represented, successful for the Trust, and successful for the Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire."
