How much does it cost to enter?
Entering is absolutely free!
How will I know if I have been successful?
You will be contacted by our events team. Finalists will also be listed on the website. We will let all entrants know whether they have been successful by Friday 4 April 2008.
If I am short listed - what happens next?
Should you make it to the finalist stage, we will contact you regarding your entry and arrange a mutually convenient time, between 7 April–2 May, for our judges and production team to visit your premises and meet you and your team. You will be given plenty of warning should this happen and a senior person in your company should be available to meet with the judges. We will also ask you for your official company information, logo and picture for the website and marketing material, and you will be invited to make your booking for the Awards Ceremony taking place on 5 June 2008.
The dates scheduled for judging at the finalists’ premises are as follows, by category:
Business of the Year: 9th & 10th April
Business Start-Up of the Year: 11th & 14th April
Small Business of the Year: 7th & 8th April
Growth Business of the Year: 15th & 16th April
International Business of the Year: 25th & 28th April
Employer of the Year:23rd & 24th April
Green Business of the Year:7th & 8th May
Chamber Member of the Year: 21st & 22nd April
Community Enterprise of the Year: 30th April & 2nd May
Excellence in Food & Drink: 29th April & May 1st
What Criteria do we need to meet?
There are separate criteria for each of the categories and this appears on the entry forms available on the Enter and categories pages
How many awards are there?
There are 10 awards covering every business area. Winners of these awards categories will be recognised as particularly strong in that area of business.
Will my entry be returned to me?
Entries will not be returned, unless requested.
Will entries be treated confidentially?
All entries and information submitted to the Chamber Awards are treated in the strictest of confidence. Financial information is only seen by the judging panel.
Will I only be considered for the categories I enter?
No. The judges retain the right to nominate you for additional categories that they may deem appropriate.

What can we get out of it?
The public relations opportunities available for finalists and winners are second to none. We will work with you to maximise PR opportunities. Winners and finalists will be provided with a logo to use on marketing literature and letterheads and a template press release to maximise media coverage. Photos of all winners from the awards night will be displayed on the website after the Awards dinner. You will also receive brand awareness amongst the business community, you will be associated with the values and good reputation of the Chamber Awards and Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire brands and above all you will receive recognition and respect for business success and hard work. You will also have the opportunity to attend the Chamber Awards 08 Ceremony on 5 June 2008 which provides you with the unique opportunity to mix and mingle with more than 500 local experts, leading business advisors and respected entrepreneurs.

How much are tickets?
Table of 10 Members £700 plus VAT; Non-Members £950 plus VAT
Single ticket Members £75 plus VAT; Non Members £100 plus VAT
Will I receive confirmation for my booking?
Email confirmation will be sent to you shortly after receipt of your booking form and payment. If you do not receive your booking confirmation within 2 weeks of making your booking, please contact us on 0845 641 1641
